SN Chin pad

Location

So I recently replaced my ss switch and had to remove my chin pad as part of the process. When i went to remove the 2 bolts that hold on the chin pad, they were both rusted and seized and sheered off. I have drilled them out be the nuts on the back of the "L" brackets are pretty mangled on the inside. So i was wondering if anyone else has had to deal with this problem, and how you guys went about fixing it and reattaching the chin pad. any ideas/advice would be awesome.

You can drill it out and tap it to the next size or try a helicoil/timcert. Most machine shops will do them for about 7 bucks a pop if you don’t want the hassle. Good luck!
