2 more hours sanding and sanding and sanding. Looks like in this skis pas life when it was half deformed and the tray was resealed about a litre if poly resin was poured to the front 2" of the tray it's over 1/2" thick in spots and the resin is even over the paint. That's all getting sanded out I'm not laying glass over poly resin aswell as glassing over paint, I'm bringing it right now to the original hull. I thought I would be putting foam in tonight 
Next time I work on the ski I will Ben putting foam in the tray I'm finally ready. Tonight I horn the last cutting and sanding done for the tray build. I decided to just cut the last bit of try I left in the front before cause the epoxy wasn't way to thick. You can see in the photo the black is the original tray and the lighter stuff is what someone else added when it was deformed originally.
It's about time!!!! Getting the tray foamed and working towards some shape. Going for the lowered foot wells. More to come in the next few days.
This is all I got done on the ski today cut the back of the ride plate off. The ride plate was a bit to big for the band saw at work but the shop next door had one to do the job. I will try riding it like that and trim as required later.
Narrowed down that colours I am doing for the ski! Just show them for now and will post pics as the ski or parts get painted/ coated.
3 hours later I have some shape to the tray. Hopefully I can get more time on it this weekend.
Got the bottom of the tray glassed in tonight, will add a few more layers once it's all covered on each side.
