SN bandwagon build

Did a little bit more. Put some 3" cloth along the underside of rail and layered some under the front nose rail. One question to anyone. I cut holes under the hood for air intakes. They are approximately 1 5/8" square holes. Will they be enough for breathing or am I gonna suffocate the motor? Better that I find out now than with the liner in. I also trimmed about inch or so off the front lip.

you could probably trim some more off the front lip..my buddy cut about the same and wouldnt listen to me about cutting more off...he ended up breaking the whole lip off and has spent the last few days glassing a nose piece on the bottom and rebuilding the top side...he does hit the bottom allot..like 5xs a ride lol

No, I have not given up on this build. I did say it would be slow going. Once it got cold enough outside I stopped working on it. I eventually brought it in the basement and got at it a couple weeks ago. I mixed some milled fibers, glass balloons, and 1/4" chopped strand to make a paste. I filled in some of the nose to make it easier to lay glass, and it'll be solid. I had my holds glued in a while back. Tonight I got 'em glassed in and put a layer of biax in the tray between the holds. Here's some pics.

It's been awhile but I've slowly been working on it. Just picked it up from painter. Tangelo orange. Getting there slow but sure.

Finally got it done for labor day weekend, but then the weather didn't cooperate. Either way it's done.

Here's some more. As far as what type of media I used to blast it. I'm not sure, some harsh stuff that was in the sandblaster at work. It came off pretty quick, but if I did it again i would just hand sand or use an orbital sander with 40 grit. The finish after blasting was really rough, had to do a lot of smoothing. And the pole is a roundie pole from my old ski. Thanks much for all the compliments. I'm mostly a lurker here and learned a lot from everyone on this site. Thanks to all of you.
