The major advantage to the small tank is mounting your battery on the centerline of the ski. Suppose to make it roll/change direction better.

On the XFT kit your mostly paying for the carbon battery box/mount and hardware.

Eh...I may be wrong, but I think you need to worry about roll technique first before worrying about silly things like center of gravity (caused by a 4 inch shift of the battery)

Seriously, spend time, not money, on improving your skills, not your ski. Your ski is a nice setup. Learn to use it.

Actually, a stock tank with 2.5 gallons will have a lower center of gravity than that small tank with 2.5 gallons. :arms:
