Ok, here is what we have minus some of the obvious ones.

I want to get some discussion going because it's obvious from the Define Freeride thread that there are huge variances in what freeride means and the majority of suggestions relate to freeride.

I didn't think this site was ultimatly going to be dedicated to freeriding. If that is the case then I'd drop the whole "revolution" theme as well as "standup" and "freeride".

Correct. We are not standup only, freeride (whatever your definition) only, or whatever. Some members incorrectly think we are.

you could also argue that any reference to shredding or jumping should be removed...

I just went throught the list and took out any freeride, freestyle, basicly anything that singles a group out. I think the majority agree freeride = surf. This site is open to more than just freeriders.

It was originally announced at the Daytona ride as "By the riders, for the riders." That's my vote - #10 minus 'free'.

I have to agree... this way, to each his/her own on whatever term you like for whatever kind of riding you actual do.

the only problem i have with the by riders for riders is that it doesnt really say what we do. I think that some part of the slogan needs to describe this site and what we do.

(X water /for riders by riders) that could mean we ride bikes...

These are not nominations yet, these are the suggestions and we're paring it down a little plus I wanted to see what everyone thought about having freeride in it.

If 'freeride' is just surf... then I don't think it should be the slogan.. Only about 8% of us live by real surf.

(I still consider myself a freerider!!!)
