Super Jet ski wont start, purt sure its just the starter but wanted to see what you think?

so i have a 90 sj 650 and when i went to g ride it the last few time the started would spin but not engauge, i could just tip the ski on the side or try and tap the starter and it would start.

well not anymmore lol. guessing thats the started crapping out.

where is the best place to get one?

If your starter is spinning its working sounds like your bendix is not engaging.

can you just replace the bendix? or do you have to replace the whole starter?

the bendix is in the front cover of your motor. you can replace just the bendix/ idler gear, but you need to pull the flywheel to get the bendix out .
and it is possible to do with out pulling the motor
