Other Ski Storage in Chicago?

I'm located in downtown Chicago, and I'm sick of driving up to the lake house in southern Wisconsin every time I want to ride or wrench on my skis. So I'm looking for a place to store up my ski's more locally, as in close to the Chicago Loop - which can be pricey.

Is there anyone else in Chicago that is looking for ski storage/workshop and would want to go in halves on a garage for rent around here?

Would also be looking for any local storage people have to offer around town that is not a storage facility.

SJ104, that is awesome generous of you man. Our lake house is actually at Powers Lake though where we keep our skis so the drive up there would be about the same. Almost 2 hours.

I only have a large 1.5 car garage but i have warehouse steel shelving in there so i can stack standups under n on top of the shelves

I already keep a few friends skis in there but i have a good amount of room these days since ive down sized to 1 jetski myself.


Im not a huge fan of people coming n going but your more then welcome to store a few skis over the winter(no trailers tho)

I have a camera setup for my own personal sense of security

Always willing to help out. Aside from my lack in posts im a stellar dude. I have a 3.5 car garage and house storage which is where i plan on storing mine over the winter. Otherwise my riding buddies live on the fox 5min away with 5 piers. Currently riding with 2sxrs', 3 650sx, 2rn sj and my b1. Majority of us keep our skis there in the water on lifts along with 2 wakesetters. Can keep that in mind come next year but my house is open for storage for what its worth.
