I have a Kawi 750 sxi-pro, with stock twin carbs. Always ran excellent although the last couple rides the ski cuts out while riding. Kinda notice it more with nose stabin or roughin the ski up, then has a bit of a time starting (as I'm floating wondering if a tow may happen, then it very sluggishly gets going). Other occations I'll be running along and then it start bogging and looses power, after slowing and loosing power and kinda feathering the throttle it jumps back to life.

What gives?

Thought water too. Although it isn't the case. I'll check the wires. Any special tips for that (with the cut back)? Hadn't done that job yet.

I haven't messed with the Kawi ones in a while but most of them just twist into the boot. I would just cut back a little bit at a time until you get good clean wire.

if you havent done it yet Id put money on it being the wires, just pull the boot/end off the wire and cut back a little at a time until you actually get some fresh looking metal and then the wire twist into the boot. When mine did this I had to cut off about 3/4 of a inch, I dont even know how it was running lol. It would run great untill I put a heavy load on the motor then it would break up and run like crap until I babied it a bit.
