The impeller in my '90 SN 650 w/pipe is stampes

Skat Trak 4 7 v

I guess this is a 14/17, but there is no such combination listed on their parts list. . .???

I searched around a little, and from what I gathered, it would be something like a 14/17 variable pitch prop

If you call Skat Trak they can tell you for sure

Its a Skat 14-17, they were made from 1991 thru about 1994 until the 9-17s replaced them. They actually have more camber and lower leading edge angle than 9-17s. They are very good props if its condition is good.

Prop in decent shape, proper clearance from ther pump walls, all looks good so I am not going to pull it.

Kevbo, you're right on that they preceded the 9/17's, but adjusting it to the newer 9/17 profile will help bottom end and rpm a bunch. It's not a bad impeller, but depending on the engine set up, it may be a bit agressive. It loads more like the newer 10/18 in that style impeller, or a 14/18 Concord. You can get a lot more bottom end out of it.
