Skat 15/20 in an

I pulled my pump to replace my pump shoe and found I have a skat trak 15/20 in my otherwise stock engine 94 square nose. Is this a typical setup?
It is out of spec as far as wear ring impeller clearance and I would have had it worked by impros but am more interested in bottom end power and am thinking this is not ideal
