...the topic was bound to come up again. I hear the best place to tap is the extra knob on the pump. But what's the extra knob on the exit nozzle for? It's angled against the flow of thrust so it seems like a better spot to tap :thinking:. This is on an 05 if it matters...

While we are on the subject, is there something I should use to seal the nozzle and pump back together (rtv?) or just the screws?

If you use the one on the reduction nozzle you'll have WAY TOO MUCH PRESSURE for cooling purposes. That tap is for the sitdowns' visibility spouts. The SJ uses a steering nozzle mounted visibility sprayer so it doesn't use that boss.
