300/440/550 Silly js550 extinguisher cap question.

I'm looking at an auction for a js550 fire extinguisher cap for my 1989 js550. It says it'll fit 90-96 js.

I read that starting in 1990, they switched the js550 to js550sx. Is there any difference in the diameter of the cover for the fire extinguisher between the 2 years? I know almost everything else is interchangeable.

The 90-96 was screw in the earlier ones push in with pins that lock in place it had an oring seal to keep water out.
