silicone exhaust coupler ripping

We had to cut my buddies stock coupler on is Factory Dry Pipe on his 701 to get it out, well we ordered a foot of tubing from Mcmaster Carr, but it was more rubbery and not as tough looking, well we've blown two couplers since then of that stuff we bought. Its red and blue. The dry pipe is a pita to take out and put in so I dont want to do this again, so what im asking is are the couplers that you can get from factory pipe different and stronger than what I probably got, and should we just order from there and we probably wont be tearing them up.

I will give you a few pointers dealing with exhaust that I've found. I believe I ordered the same hose from Mcmaster. Blue outside, red inside? Anyway, the best way to set up the pipe is bolt up the pipe without couplers attached. You want all the pipe flanges to be exactly lined up. If they're skewed to the left or right, it puts too much pressure on the coupler and then they either blow off or break. You also want the pipes within an 1/8" or so. I've found an 1/8" works best. Grinding holes in brackets or such may be needed to make everything line up. After you have lined everything up, mark it so you can reinstall it with the couplers. I bet the Mcmaster hose would even work then.

kinda confused on what you mean there, the chamber doesnt just slide into the manifold it can move around a little so i dunno how I would ever get it straight in with an equal gap around. Anyways thos dry pipe is so big its hard to even get in once.

I know it doesn't slide into the manifold. I'm talking about when the exhaust pieces are bolted up to the mount in the final stage. I can almost guarantee that there equal gap around it. They need to be dry fit first.

I'm not sure exactly how your exhaust is bolted up, but either you may have to tweat mounts in such a way to make it line up better. You may also have to drill out the bolt holes to make adjustment possible. Throw some pictures this way and maybe we can get a better idea. Bolt it up with no coupler and take some pics.
