side port exhaust on a kawi

anyone ever done this on a 750 sx,sxi,pro?....and made it their primary ur...only exhaust port, more or less completely bypassing a jacked up factory exhaust port?

It had definately been done. I believe the most popular way it to run universal radiator hose around and over the battery and connect it to a the thru hull connector up front.

I looked into it for a while but I'm afraid of how loud it will be.

I did. Keep in mind, u cannot restrict your ex flow and therefore should do frt and rear if u do anything. On my SX-R I added a rt frt exhaust 'T'ed off of the rear exhaust hose. As far as noise goes-there really was very little 'added noise'.

I saw one on blowsion and X-metal. X-metal had a waterbox attached to it. I figured you could put these on a 750 same as the old 550's and 650's. any recommedation on the placement of this port? I have a factory dry pipe so do you think to excess h20 would be a problem?

Gilgoneround- can i get a pic of your set up? or anyone elses for that matter. my biggest problem is that the stinger/silencer/wtf it is called in the gunwale of the ski if f-ed....leaks into the hull under the tray and fills it. so i need to completely by pass the rear ex port? or id need to do something else.... I am half tempted to cut the whole tray out and re pipe it, since blowsion has a f extinguisher mount for under the hood.

I have search and search and appear to be in uncharted territory. yeah Me
