i agree that they work really well on the 650sx. kawtipper put one on his and it was a ton better that what he had. he stayed hooked up all the time. we would race me on my 650 sj and him on his 650sx. my sj bounced all over the place and he just stayed glued to the water. never tried any other shredmaster, only the one on the 650sx.

D Ace must be Shredmaster! I remember on PWC Today saying how great the V Plate was... What I stated was it handled almost like a stocker and this was on my almost stock boat. In my opinion, it is not worth the money. I do like the all one piece design. Most people ride in rough water and need a top loader. If a top loader is slowing you down... then it is doing its job. You just need more motor! Funny thing about the Shredmaster is that no performance shop recomends. But I do know of a performance shop whoe does recommend the JD stuff... I also take to heart what Wax says... when I buy a SJ, I won't put a Shredmaster on it

shredmaster+freeride=crap

I have heard the same thing.

But then, I have heard that the shredmaster plate is a race modification, and that one of the best plates for freestyle is the stock plate.

What you want for racing, and what you want for freestyle, are certainly not the same performance setups.
