SX/SXi/SXi Pro Show off your 750's - Pics and Info

yeah so i bought into the superjet hype and bought one. not as fast as i thought, felt weird, had to have everything replaced to work. hated it. so went back to kawi....this one is a 94 750 bored out. fast as hell on top end, seems doggy on low end, what should i do first to get low end? a pipe? anyway, the rest is stock except the paint. love it. how do i know what model it is? i doesnt say on the title. i assume its a sx how would one tell if its an ss or sx

Here is my 94 750sx I've been busy doing the bodywork and paint. I just need a few extra AM parts and graphics and she will be about done for this year. Next year will be rebuilt motor along with the engine ported for freestyle.

Throw them in the trash and turf the rails, but thats my opinion. I think they handle better without them also.

I guess I never did put the final finished pics up of my sx(i)... It received an 80.5mm top end this winter, port matching, and some tweaking.. Going to be tuned correctly in the next week or so, then sadly after all the work it's going up for sale on the chopping block... I bought a 13 original hr 04 SXR last week to replace this ski... It was a fun project, but time for a new ski that the wife has been promising me for 4 yrs now.. hahaha

i thought is was just stock pipe. it looks the same as kraqus post on the first page i got the ski off a bloke in scotland was to quick for him he got it off a bloke that race them i take it thats y it has the long plate and the fins on the side on the 3rd pic. i see everyone talking about the sj r they that good thinking off one this winter looking for a x2 to play with they look like fun

Deff not stock, looks like a dry pipe of some sort. I notice it has a ewic on the firewall too. I looks like its setup for bouy racing for sure. I bet it sticks in the turns like crazy!!!

BTW about the sj's, I have only ridden two but I didnt like the way they ride at all. Im used to the kawi and couldnt wait to get back on my own ski.
Just make sure you ride one before you go out and buy one.

yep its tight very hard to get the back to slip 180.. mite just jump up a few years and stay with kawi not a lot ski stand up in north ireland all sitt down so not get a go on a sj pitty some sweet lakes and good surf love to surf to...

I had mine setup like that for a while but changed it to 2" extentions (just cut them off to 2") and use a factory D cut plate for goofing around. I run a extended R&D plate for when I want to corner well or busy days at the lake. It still handles REALLY good with them cut off but easier to turn, I found the back end had a tendency to stick mid corner sometimes and throw you off with the 4" ext. on it.

yes i know what you mean with it stickin in corners. if you have any pic off the cut plate would love to have a look do you think the alioy fins on the back rail would help much.i would like to set it up a bit more for tricks i have new foot straps to put on. anything you can think off i see everyone taking about tubbies our they that good any good sites to shop on dont want to spent a lot if im going to sell and get a younger ski this winter

I can get some better pics later for you, this is all I had loaded up. Tubbie 2's are the shiz, the make the ski alot more stable at high speeds and in corners. A must in my opinion. You can also look at tubbie destroyers, they should be easier to mount and are removable by three bolts per side. Both are available at blowsion.com I would also highly suggest foot holds, their safer and widen your stance for even more stability, well worth the money.

BTW I had concerns about cutting them since I already had the windows cut in the sides like you do but have had no problems with them at all
As for your fins on the back I would take them off, I took my stock ones off and it will slide alot better now
