Super Jet Should I run race gas during break in?

I just rebuilt my motor and was running 185 PSI previously. I always ran straight pump gas. I had the cylinder decked just to take out any imperfections, and I tried to stress to the guy that I didnt want my compression to change much. Anyway, I'm concerned that it could be higher but I wont know until after I break it in. From what I've read, compression numbers lie until after break in.

Should I just play it safe and run a 50/50 mix possibly? Is there any harm in running race gas on a pump gas motor during break in?

thanks.

You can always open the top screws for the first tank to safely see how everything is going. This will prevent any detonation and keep the piston from sticking if the fit is a little too tight.
