Should i build from the ground up

Should i start with a mostly bare hull and buy parts i can get a hull thats -2 or-3 with a handpole and hood should i just buy everything else and build the ski the way i want? or buy a ski and change it to my liking, any input is welcome. thanks a bunch guys

Building everything from the ground up will be expensive, and it can be very intimidating in scope and complexity (and cost).
But, everything will get done the way YOU do it (not necessarily the way you want it).

This is true very true i wish i could find a rn on my coast its quite a pain i dont think im going to get to ride on my own stand up this year i have to get my x2 out and going im still looking for ideas i made a list of most peices i would need and its 2 pages on microsoft word because i am doing my own motor for the most part. everythign else i would like to be mostly done i have my crf250 for sale anyone want to trade for a rn??? hahaha
