Blaster Shortened rockered 1100 B1 with 155 pump.....what prop?

Im new to this mod so bear with me. Im just wondering how well the 155 pump fits in the smaller space of the 144 pump cavity. It doesnt hang low? The intake track is setup for 144mm now its getting 155mm , it still works? Was kind of looking for fit and finish pics if no glass work was being done. thanks

WB. The pump bolts up but yes it hangs low. I am going have to fab a rideplate from scratch. The intake tract was designed for a 144 but a 155 pump show will fit it apparently with minor grinding. Hoping shoe will arrive tomorrow. It's all new to mee too, but. somebody has gotta do it right?

Im looking forward to hearing your results and what this mod does for you. Making a rideplate will be a bit tricky. You iether mod a stocker or make some sort of base to lay fresh glass for a one off.

I'm trying making a mold off bottom of the hull and laying a section of that up. Will trim and test fit tomorrow. Teaser of 155 test fit......

hey man - nice job..

what nose kit or your original?

I am about to either buy a 148 mag pump or now, seeing yours go with the 155mm Pump. Dave701 has built one and said it works very well. Any feedback from your end? Especially on the modding side. also, how about trim, could you put a thrust ez-pull on it?

As far as prop pitch. if your racing, i guess top end is your thing. So yours sounds right. however I rode the carbon 200HP blaster and it has a 9/15 prop in it and it's absolutely psycho. Top end was actually dangerous. you would be a brave man to ride it flat out and then incredibly lucky if you did not get tank slapped! apparently with the dasa, you need to watch the loading of the engine from over propping. not sure if it's the same for a kawi.

I had to sand down the high spots on the 155mm pump housing where the two sections join. I also had to sand down the raised rib section of the ride plate to be able to run a standard ride plate. Seeing you have chopped your rear plate bolts off, you might have to run a custom fibreglass plate.

Howzit?

Yes another aussie with a 1200 WB here. My build is closer to finish , i'm still tuning (mrd inj) . I have done the jd155. its a real pain in the ar se. Basically had to cut the lip off the top half of the shoe and grind the f out of the tunnel to make it fit. i have a 18/22 came with the gp1200 . top ends a bouncy blur, out of the hole bit better than my worked 800 b1.

Go with a b2 pitch.

I have a 8/15 cut back big hub 155 impeller in my stock 155 pump with jd pump shoe 89mm bored reduction nozzle and Powerhouse Perfromance 898 engine.
