Shock pad placement??

Sorry if this is a stupid question but no directions with the Hydroturf shock pad. Where does it stick to..handlepole, hood top, etc??? Thanks

i have mine on the hood but have seen them on the pole

Well, this thing is contoured so I figured that it fit in an exact place. Guess it is up to each rider. If anybody knows different, please help. This is going on an 04 Superjet.

I was kind of wondering where that would go myself because the top of the hood is taken up by the fire extinguisher compartment etc. Also the stock pole absorber thing seems pretty weak and does not do much to absorb the shock.
