Shipping to England Question.

Do any of you guys know of a good safe way to ship items to the UK?
My ski has a problem with its pump and there is a kind gent on this site who has a second hand part available for it.

Niether of us have never shipped an item over seas before so I was wondering/hoping that someone on here might of done this and would give us some advise... Cheers Guys for any info in advance...

Have him ship USPS to you. I have shipped many things from the states to overseas and had no problems at all. They will be the most reasonable on prices. Places like DHL and UPS charge out the azz last time I checked on their overseas rates.

Unites States Postal Service is the only cost effective way .UPS ,DHL and Fed Ex are outrageously priced .

I shipped a pump to Taiwan for $65 ,insured .Ups would have wanted triple that to over $200

If he is shipping to you than he will ship it through his regular mail service. It will be transferred to our USPS at some point. I have shipped to the UK and never had a problem.

Its not cheap. I'm shipping a 2lb package to the UK for $20.20 USD. Go to www.usps.com and click on the "calculate international postage" tab and you can get a good idea of how much it will cost. You will need the weight and detentions of the package.
