Here is some information about shipping a ski:

Probably the first place you want to go: http://www.freightquote.com and http://www.forwardair.com

Also try Unishippers.

Make sure to research and check out other peoples experiences:
how to ship a complete ski?
shipping a ski.
shipping a jetski
ski shipping

PWCT: shipping a hull

One tip I've heard is to list it as "jet ski parts". Pretty sure they charge more (a lot more) to ship vehicles. Learned that from some dirtbike shipping research, and I think it would apply to jetskis.

Below is a short list of some freight/shipping companies. It is just another place to start, some of these cater to the southeastern US and are listed because they are what I saw on the road the week I jotted down trucking companies.

Some things to ask are:
Is an account required to make a one-time shipment?
Do they ship skis, if so what are the requirements?
Can you pickup at the door or do you require a loading dock?
How will you get a 300+ pound ski into the trailer?
If the ski is not covered by some type of insurance, what is the policy regarding theft (if truck is stolen or broken into).
You may want to check with your insurance company over the trucking company, you never know when you will get paid (be sure to ask).
Finally, if this is a sale make sure to outline the shipping terms: FOB or ___.
