how to ship a complete ski?

I did a search but couldn't find it. What is the cheapest way to ship a complete ski?

They do motorcycles in a container ship-all u do is take bike to airport less all the fluids w/tie downs-they provide container-u pull it in-strap it down-and they tag it and ship it-Canada to Alabama is bout 400.00 for a 500lb container.-Hope this helps.

Forward air is the cheapest I found. Very good rate if you ship from one of their main loading docks to the other. (My complete hull was $125 from NJ to Jax, FL.) Gets very pricy if you have it shipped to your door.

cool, how do you prep it for shipping? does it just sit on a palette or need to be boxed. if pallet do they provide one?

I shipped a ski to Ross c in Cali. Myyellow was the cheapest I found from here. If you send it business to business and or to there loading hubs. it is cheaper. We built a crate just the size of the ski. Thread is ss.ross c. I think in freestyle section. hope that helps.

The seller of the hull built an awsome crate/box for it. YOu would want it in a box! They use forklifts to move them around so you might end up with some extra marks w/o a full box.
