Shipping a ski..

Has anybody ever used Haulbikes.com to ship a ski? I think i read it needs to be on a trailer? is it a pretty painless process?

depending on where you are going from, I know a shipper guy that charges great rates but mostly does east coast stuff. Uship is a very good option

Just hired uship for a FL to NY ship. $475 and the guy seems solid. Also looked into xpo logistics a friend used them. They were $435 but needed a crate. Uship seems to not need crates as much. That's what shipper said and the place I'm buying from. Let me know if I can help with any contacts.
