Hooked on the Jamz
I thought he lost his new baby the other day!

We were on the water and he went for a nose stab that apparently went bad. He and the ski went under... and only he came back up! He was floating there, looking around for his ski for what felt like 30 seconds and finally the ski popped up nose first about 6 feet behind him. It was really only about 6-7 seconds.... but it warped my brain as I watched it unfold.

It wasn't even flooded. It stayed down so long because as he came off the ski he managed to blip the throttle one last time, and it shot down. After it came up it chugged out water for a few seconds and away he went!

it seemed pretty surreal. i came up, looked for my ski. looked at my wife riding with a bewildered look on her face. i looked at 2 people on shore which were looking for my ski too. turned my head back and forth like an owl for maybe 6 times and then it rose like a submarine behind me. there was barely any water in it! it didnt even take any water in the engine. i think i like my new ski. maybe ill keep it.

i just want to add that after a couple weeks of riding this boat... the WF hood kit and x-metal pole setup compliment eachother in more ways than one. not only do they look stealthy, rocketshippy and downright sexy, they also keep the water out like nobodys bidness! today makes twice that my ski has gone WAY under water.... im talking 5-8 seconds and the ski comes up running with virtually no water in the hull and the engine is clear as can be with no having to "clear it out".

gawd, i love my ski!

its because i was to lazy to prep the ski for paint, which would have to be done if i filled the area. i keep my whistle and registration in there. a 1.5" pvc cap fits right in the rubber hose to keep it a dry area.

LOL @doobtube

I like that idea:cool2:

The SJ look killer!:Banane01:

He could do a Seminole Indian version, something like "Likes to go Down" is the translation of Submarine.
