Hey guys I picked up a used single channel total loss. I need help setting it up. I'm not very good with this thing. It the 4272 brain. Anyone have settings for this. My motor is a Jm 735 35 domes 180 compression b pipe and stock pump with a 10/16 cut back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The original owner had it in his 760 and told me just to plug and play into mine but thought I'd ask before I did so

Yep a few times. I'm starting to understand it. I guess I'm just looking for a starting point now. I know msd offers a setting to start out with that's pretty basic. I was hoping for some more input

Mine does not have degrees on the flywheel. In the instructions it said every tooth is 5 degrees. I was just going to mark the first tooth at tdc and count the teeth

I forgot!
Yes I have read that but I always used a degree wheel to verify. I think there may be a 5 degree difference in the pickup timing vs actual timing that needs to be figured into your static timing. Not sure on that one but I have heard people say that, when they used the old systems.

Do not count the teeth set it up by using a dial indicator and degree wheel that is the only way to have an accurate aetup.
