setting up msd total loss?

I forgot!
you should really learn to do it yourself and know the system or else your never going to be riding. It is not that bad once you get past the instructions.

Depends on how good your batteries are, how much you start your ski when riding, if you are running bilges all the time, etc. I have run 15 gallons of fuel on some and 7 gallons on others.

My set up msd duall channel
30hrs or so to set up
jet works battery new
single pump on a lot
dual pumps on when chasing cruisers
I ride about 3 tanks a ride and have never had a issue
I get about Hr of ride time per tank

This was my first time to set up TL It was a bit of whip for me. I was trying to get everything saltwater tight since I ride surf about 6 times a year

Pretty much the whole set up sucked but well worth it.I went from advent/tbm light FW and the msd made huge diffrence on my set up:veryhappy:

You pretty much described what I did for roughly the same amount of hours to a T. Only difference is I have a single channel system and I ride in salt every time I ride.

The main thing was like you said... making sure everything is 100% watertight, and I seemed to spend most of the time making sure everything was going to line it right on the plate to be nice and clean. It wasn't too hard, but hey, I have good tech support :sneaky:

Just curious, did you come up with a way to enclose the ECM? I don't quite trust the way the dip switches are sealed or the cable entries into the box. This issue is keeping me from going back to TL which I certainly agree can be a thing of beauty!

Because you have a kawi, your setup is a little bit more difficult than an SJ. Kawi's require drilling and tapping the case to mount the trigger plate. Even then, the install instructions tell you exactly where to drill, what tap to use, and how deep to go so it's straight forward.
