Hello Steve.
I know DASA std stroke makes good power....as I sais, I have tunning problems.

I got my impeller specs. IT IS A C75 12/17 SWIRL SETBACK. Even if is too big for me thats not what Im concerning about.

Thanks guys.

I will play with the jetting that Kyle and D-roc got me.

I'm running 13/18 on a 144 mag w/ 85 nozzle and a stub cone. Could prolly go 86 or 87 nozzle with a med tail cone.

Hey
I have the same set up basically, Riva 48's, MSD enhancer, B-Piped and a 12-17 skatt. Here's my carb specs if they help.

Main 130
Pilot 140- probably going to 130 to test tho
Need and Seat 2.0

Cris,
Thats what Kyle adviced me to start but 2.5 needle / seat instead.
Thanks

I'm higher than u guys on my prop, but honestly if I went lower I'd b cavitation like hell. I had more than one guy tell me to go lower. Either 12/17 or 11/16 (10/16!!!) but with the 13/18 I'm on the edge. It def helps to get this setup on the pipe faster.

Guys,

I started to fix this today but didnt have a chance to go to the water.

It was jetted like this:
Pop off around 20. My gauge isn't accurated but it is equal on both carbs.
Pilot 145
Main 130

As I collect with Kyle, D-roc and Zeski.... Im now:
same pop off around 20
Pilot 137.5
Main 125

I also changed the water cooling line from headpipe top fitting. It was going direct thru the short T legs to the stinger and the long leg of T to the bypass fitting... So too much water in the system since the top screw were oppened a little.

If Im not wrong, PV Motors are known as smoothier than non PV motors...
As I said before, the other 2 motors that I had with PV that worked properly were strokers with TL and Full Spectrums....so I keep thinking that it is not really better than a non PV motor if it has a modest setup like mine.

The motor really sound too quiet and smooth out of water....thats my opinion.
It sounds like it has an exhaust clogged but everything is brand new: waterbox, exh hose,...

Lets see how it performs tomorrow.

Thanks

Gera

Status update.

What I did:
- Closed FPP top screw.
- Route line from headpipe top fitting to T (short leg) and another short leg to bypass fitting (out of ski). Long leg to stinger with flow valve and carb seat.
- Carb setting: main 125, pilot 137.5, pop off 20 psi w/ 2.3 NS and adjusters around 1 turn. (Was 130/145/same as above)
- Timing advanced since Im running 61X electrics.

Results:
Night and day difference. My low end came up that it is almost "eating" my prop.
It is revving so fast that I did install the 130 main jet back to get some more mid to top speed. It is really too short now.

I will try it again tomorrow morning.

Is it really supposed to go like this???

Thanka again guys.

I'm getting ready to install my SS Dasa, and was hoping to get some jetting spec help. I'm at 1500' elevation.
The hardware: 145 Skat setback mag pump with short cone, and a Skat 9/15. I have both short and medium cones for the pump.
SBN 46's, modified by Buckshot (old school).
V-force reeds.
Stock electronics with an MSD enhancer and lightened OEM flywheel.
Pump gas domes, cylinder ported by Dasa, cases filled, matched and tunnel ported.

Any help would be appreicated, hoping to ride on Black Friday!
