I use a random orbit sander for about 90 % of my bodywork and I have tried about every brand of sandpaper out there, so when something new comes along I am skeptical, but not skeptical enough not to try it out apparently.

This stuff is touted as lasting longer and not clogging up , which are the two things I have had the most issues with , I ordered a 5 inch mixed grit pack of 50 sheets for $19.99 I have to say after using it for awhile that it is every bit as good as they claim and it much cheaper than everyone elses sandpaper, I give it two thumbs up with a snap and a twist.

I did order it off Amazon and saved a few bucks as compared to on their website plus I got it in two days with free shipping .

I never found a sanding pad that last very long. We use 80 for rough work.

80 grit is what I usually use the most as well , I sanded fairly large epoxy drips with it yesterday, when I was finished I looked at the disc, it still looked brand new and it still cuts like new , like I said I wasn't expecting much but I got way more than I expected .

Next i am going to strip some paint with it, that is the true test , nothing gums up sandpaper like old dead paint, I will let you know how it goes.

I just recently tried the Diablo Sandnet on this latest project. I've got to say, I'm pretty impressed with this stuff so far.

I have been using the 80 grit to sand the red death off the VX1100 project ski , this sandpaper hangs in there like a loose tooth, the only issue I am having is with the paint itself, that red dust builds up between the sanding pad and the paper to a point where it will no longer stay on the sander, it never stops cutting and the paper doesn't clog up, I just ordered another box of 80 grit from Amazon.

I've only seen that issue when using sanding discs WITH holes on a backing pad WITHOUT holes.

8 hole pad, 8 hole disc , I have never run into it before but the paint on this thing is beyond dead, when you sand it turns into a really fine powder that goes everywhere, thank God I am about done with the sanding.

I can only take about 30 -45 minutes of this crap at a time.

That fine powder will do it for sure, like sanding drywall. I run my shop vac hooked up to the sander for stripping like that.
