Sept 09 LSFR Roll Call @ Port A.

Mick - the Port A ferry is nothing like we deal with in Galv. I tried to count - I think each boat holds 12-15 cars. there are 2 lanes of cars on each side. If there is a boat, travel trailer or dually truck - they won't put someone next to it so there may be only 8 cars and the truck/trailer combo. Get 2 trucks each pulling a large on a the same ferry - and there might only be 4 cars on it with them.

I think even the Lynchburg Ferry boats are larger than the Port A boats.

I think there were 5 landings on each side and they were running at least 4 boats when I crossed.

My phone had shut itself off by accident, otherwise Melmack and I would have driven over and carried their extra gas for them.

That's BS! The sighn clearly says "Two 5 gallon cans full" not "Two 5 gallon cans period." Geez, that's a bunch of crap. Ether way, the can Nazis lost, we rode anyway. Great trip. I'll post the few pics we got tonight. Can't wait for the next ride. We'll keep an eye on the surf and let you guys know when were heading out next time.

Im trying to get things wrapped up here before Oct 1. Because after that I wont be doing anything for a while.

Finish the last part of Moonies ski, New Winch mount (ready for powder coating now), change oil in truck, and clean it up. Clean up the shop (looks like chit) and mow lawn. Oh and get you that crank.
