I would say don't separate unless you have too only makes more work for yourself in the end, I know I wish I wouldnt have separated the two.
But if you need to separate, take your time and don't rush it! I used an scrapper hammer and screw driver to do most of the work. Use scrapper and wedge between decks and work your way around the entire hull youll know your gettin when you hear the pop! Only trouble area is the bulk head, I used the dremel multimaster saw to cut through the glue in this area.

I'm the one that finished rmbc's project. Look up the tweeker build. One thing that helps big time is an industrial heat gun. It really helps soften the glue and helps it release. Cut plenty of wood wedges heat wedge heat wedge. Watch your heat , the thinner SMC will deform. You'll get a feel for it..... If you get it to hot just chill out on that section and let it cool down a little before you wedge it..... My two cents.

perfect thanks for info. Well the reason im even doing this is because after i finish the REV and in between riding it i wanna build my own hull. So i got this SN and my plan is to make molds out of it so i can build one out of carbon fiber. know some might think this is a waste of time but i got nothing but time. so the plan is to shortin the hell out of it rocker the front and rear do something crazy and wiild to top deck and move pump tunnel and all kinds of things add a ride plate like the foot rocket soo any ideas would be cool aswell

I guess the main reason I wanna do this is I just don't have the money to spend on a short A/M hull. So I got this 94 SN for pretty much free I decided its worth a shot to see if I can't make it workout and if it doesn't work out I'll throw it all away.
