Other Securing to trailer

I just picked up a Yacht Club trailer, and I have my FX-1 sitting on it, I was just wondering how you all secure it to the trailer, there is like 2 feet of gap between the front of the ski and the bow stop, which is the "V" shaped stop for a boat hull. Thank you.

If I just let some length out on the winch and tighten it to the bow eye would that be good enough? I cant figure out where to mount the bow eye stop without having something welded up.

hook the winch up to it how it is now and use a rope that goes around the trailer tube and tie it up to the eye on the tray

This is what l came up with and can also use the trailer for a sit down.Took the bow stop off,got two pieces of metal, drilled the holes for the connection for the trailer and then drilled one for the bow stop.Simple! Opps! paint too.

put some stainless eyes on the cross bar right under the front of your ski and use a ratchet strap. it will pul the front down and back. then just mount a box on the front and use it for whatever without having to reinforce it. i havent seet a box that i would trust to hold my ski...
