I am installing a check valve on my roundnose and am wondering how you all bonded the rear end of the tube to the hull. The inside of the tray is removed right now so access is not an issue. I am using ABS tubing and am thinking that I will use fiberglass from the inside since I am not sure if just using 5200 would hold it in place. How well does glass stick to ABS? Has anyone found some sort of flanged fitting that works well? I am hesitant to just use 5200 since the end of the pipe will be visible from the back and will need to receive paint.

I used 404 epoxy filler. I know nothing about ABS tubing but epoxy sticks to PVC pretty well.

i have used 5200 with abs, worked just fine .
but Epoxy should stick to abs if your worried about it .

Put the exit in the pump area, and you don't have to worry about painting it.
