SE 50mm Ninja Carb failure

Just want to share my experience with the SE 50mm Ninja carbs.

I ordered a set through blowsion. Before purchasing I had heard of shops making modifications / updates to them due to failing epoxy ect. I asked blowsion specifically about this issue and was assured that these carbs need no work. Flash forward two seasons and the carbs had a failure.

I just got the carbs back from @High Speed Industries with the repairs / update performed. Hopefully they last many more seasons.

Did the Engine suffer any carnage as a result?

Luckily the "plug" did not fall into the engine.

I did lose power, land on my head, and sink the ski though

Losing power at a critical time...no bueno

I read something on high speed industries website referencing this issue, but I would sure love more information about what exactly falls out and how they fix it.

I don’t know exactly. I just handed off the carbs to them.
