I finished painting John's handlepole last week.
I layed a bunch of transparent black over the silver to give it a gunmetal color that will hopefully match the color of the faux carbon fiber nose piece of the SX-R.

The skulls are just a template you can buy.
A few of the guys on here have use the same stencil.
There are several available.

They're a great time saving tool and make it possible to do something fun without spending days on just skulls. When used right they turn out nice and with a little effort don't just look like you just blasted some paint through a stencil.

I have several of those various skulls ghosted thru-out my ski. And Daylite, you are absolutely correct. If done right they do add a perfect dimension to a ski.
