I know everyone says aftermarket starters are crap. What about SBT starters? What is the best alternative to new OEM when buying a starter?

There are a couple of used OEM starters on ebay. Then there is the "ebay starter". Opinions?

i bought one from him to have as a spare. it is, indeed, a mitsuba OEM starter for $108 shipped. cant beat that deal ANYWHERE!

I used a SBT starter on my old square for about a year and it worked with no problem.

Im Using One Right Now But Only Have One Ride On It So You Never Now. I Go Through Starters At Least One A Year Out Of 3 Skis. My Problem Is The Armature Magnet Break On High Torque Starter Break And Oem The Has A Sleve In It So The Magnet Cant Move And Break But Not As Powerful As A High Torque Starter. It Is All In You Compression On What Starter You Need In My Book. Oem Can Take A Little More Beating. Starter Are Like Grips You Replace Em Every Year. Why Not The Sbt Starter Has A 1 Year Warranty And I Talk To Them And They Said If Anything Goes Wrong Inside They Will Replace It. You Cant Beat That.
