Do the fuel pumps on a 46 sbn Mikuni build like a 38 or a 44??

The 46's I'm working with seem to have like a late model 38/44 lower half (nearest the carb body) according to the diagram...

Yes, late style.

All the 46's that I have used for builds of late. Can't remember when I worked on some of the early wetjet 46's, I'm still thinking they were late style also.

Assemble in this order for the fuel pump on late style carb...
carb body
drop in barrel filter first (mainly so you won't forget!)
add molded o-ring
add rubber gasket
set on pump plate w/clear check valves
next is the round o-ring
add clear diaphragm
then paper gasket with big round hole
then lastly the pulse plate and screws to hold it all together.
Use 2 stroke oil as you go, light coat on everything, grease bolts heavy before installing.
