I bought a SBN 34/38/44/48 rebuild kit and got all the gaskets replaced along with the needle valve o-ring and spring.

Now I have 3 springs left and 2 o-rings. Are the o-rings for the hi and lo adjusters? I'm guessing the 3 other springs are for the 3 other carbs types.

I'm using this as my guide:

Thanx guys!

Yes if you bought a kit you will have extra parts left over not sure exactly what parts but you will have some.

This is why I buy my kits of John at Jet Ski solutions he custom makes the kits and only sells you what you need.

the kit should include three o-rings total. one for each needle adjuster, ( high, and low) and the third one is gor the brass, seat part of the needle & seat.

they send different springs to cover mos applications. you probably will ahve some gaskets, and diaphragms left over too.

Thanx guys!!

Great info!

Is there anything that I should spray with carb cleaner, like the jets? They're not clogged and everything else looks really clean.

This carb was pulled from a recently run 580. No problems during running, just needed a carb rebuild bad.

This is my first carb rebuild.

If its noticeably dirty get some dental picks and go wild, if not i would just spray all internals w/carb clean and put the straw on spray through jets and make sure the carb clean comes out as a nice fan in the carb.
