This is going to be pretty cool ! I was planning on getting to the camp ground around 2pm on fri. I have three sights resv. for the Stl. crew. Lou

we plan to leave home Friday morning.

4.5 hours 260 miles is what Im seeing... OUCH. im glad gas is cheap right now.



maybe be there around 2-3 pm.

Is there a picnic table at site #10 Lou?
I like the woods behind that campsite, but I need a picnic table.... ive got to have somewhere to sleep.

for those who have never been at the upper ramp at pb2, that is a walk out dock and 3 lane ramp. that is a gravel/rock beach on the point. it is nice and shady for the nonriders/spouses/kids. probably want to bring an anchor bag or something

for those of us camping down at state park area #1, this will be day camp I guess?

are we safe to leave fuel, coolers, chairs, and stuff on the beach while we ride for a bit?

how far from our vehicles are we there?

is it usually crowded?
or just ski folks there?

she said you sounded surprised when she said she was going, I told her if you went I was bringing portly, midget, asian strippers. ( her favorite type)

I tried to call you back.

its just the 2 of us at the campsite, you are welcomed to park there, camp there, eat,sleep,drink, and hang out there. ( bring your own tent! haha)

Ive got site 010, in section 1 of the state park reserved, its a back in site, with woods behind it, right across from SXR Lou and his crew.

We are planning to smoke some boston butts for tacos and sandwiches, and throw a rack or 2 of ribs on if the party is there.

oh yeah, the campsite capacity is 6 people, and from what I am reading they allow ski trailers in the grass ( not required to park on the pad).

Last week when I made the reservations there were still a lot of campsites available, the bill for Friday night and Sat night was $36.50
so, im guessing it wont fill up ( assumption on my part) but yall are also welcomed to crash at our site if you want to, or if the need arises.
