Well I wanted to get my girl riding so I picked her up a ski last night. Its a 2001 yamaha superjet. I just built the motor today. Lightly ported 701 .50 over Riva Free Ride Pipe, Riva Girtled Head, Vforce 2 reeds, Msd enhancer, solas impeller, and shredmaster rideplate / intake.

The motor came disassembled. Cyl was just bored. New yamaha pistons, rings, bearings, pins, gaskets ect. I just basically had to assemble it. Paid $2500 for everything.

Well the guy I bought the ski form has a brother in the FBI in mass. He is going to contact me this week to get things moving...

I know of a guy selling an 01 roundnose with a protec pipe, protec head, jd intake and rideplate, and bars for 3K. Its definitely not in the best of shape, but you could offer him a lot less. I decided not to buy it, but you might like it.
