We all keep hearing all those good Rager stories, here's a sad one...
I have a brother-in-law. He's 24, karate black belt, mountain bikes, runs 20miles a few times a week, goes to the gym daily, kayaks, etc, etc. Now he's getting ready to run some Philly marathon in November.
Occupies a spare bedroom in our house for the time, but we rarely see each other. :bigeyes:
He's ridden my couches a few times in the last couple of years and always used to say "I see one in my future when I get more money and stuff".
And I've always used to say "Wait, try a stand-up first!"
It just happened that he never got a chance to ride the pole ski because of our conflicting schedules, when I'm riding, he's somewhere else.
So, a couple of weeks ago I told him about the Rager, and he said he will stop by. On Sat he appeared at the Rager, said "Hi!" and was standing by us on the beach for a few hours, I explained him the differences between SJs, Blasters, SXRs, X2s, "square", "round", and so on. Then we left for a walk to get ready for the afterparty, he stayed on the beach just watching the sick mofos ripping that chit. His last words when I saw him on Sat were "I want a SuperJet".
I saw him briefly last night in the kitchen. He said he's ready to pay cash for a SJ.
I saw him about an hour ago again... and...
...here comes "the saddest" part of the story: now I have to find a clean beginner's SJ with a trailer ASAP, preferrably already built for freestyle, teach him to take care of that thing, wrench on it, take it out (for the testing reasons only... :sneaky: ), and so on.
I will probably post at a request at the Marketplace in a few minutes or in the morning, but here are the basics...
Wanted: a clean SJ on a trailer, round or square, from a good non-smoking or smoking family, pump gas, the less maintainance required the better (for me), he would like to get something for under $2000K, but you know how it goes.
We are located in Central Jersey, would prefer something within a reasonable distance or a delivery...
