Sure but why put a 800 pole on a 30 bracket? lol Plus you will lose the ability to breathe thru the tubes. If you do it make sure your dont cut you cables routing the lines from a single hose to the dual RRP lines. That alumn is sharp.

no, they will tell you you need their bracket or you will break the lower cast peice. ive seen it happen.

I don't know if the 08 and the 06 are the same but I mounted mine with np, the tricky part is the spring
