Super Jet RRP Pole

I want to get this right, it's going on a 08 superjet. I think I need the following;

Billet Pole
RRP Chin Pad
RRP Steering Stopper
Thrust Innovations +6" steering cable

It's going on stock SJ bracket and using my Cold Fusion fat bar turn plate, with rrp bars, cold fusion throttle.

Can I run a spring with this?

I dont care if I use the breather through the pole.. Im ordering a rickter hull over the winter. I just want the adjustability now since someone recommended to shorten my pole. The +6" cable is required on FR2 so I might as well order that now. I tried the search, not coming up with much. I just want everything to work.

Call or pm steve and order it through him. Local pickup.

Shortening that stocker is a good start for now before you drop the coin on a pole though. Only take about 2 hours from start to finish.

lol u have no idea bruce. i already pm'ed steve about a fr2 hull and my motorcycle is on craigslist atm. just want to make sure this all going to work on my superjet. if i can't run a spring or even mount it without purchasing a rrp bracket ($$$) which also means lowered hood ($$$) then im just gonna break out my sawzall and wait to order that all come winter.

I'd wait and get some ride time in on the ski now that you have some power and footholds. Cut the pole way short and learn to ride it before you spend money on a pole.

When you go big enough to break the stocker its time for a metal pole. Til then run what ya got.

Yea you're right. I just work too much with not much riding time so I drool over these parts always haha. I gotta stay away from a few websites I frequently visit :twak: Thanks for reminding me to put the debit card down. I'm gonna cut the pole tomarrow down from a -2 to a -4. -4 sounds good?

-4 or -5 is a good start.

What steering and bars are you running?

cold fusion fat bar plate, rrp 50 mm risers, i got shmity1's cable/mounting bracket to solve the post 08 short steering problem.

the +6 cable wont work in your stock sj hull . with the pole that short. it will be all balled up in the nose of the ski.

So I removed another 2.5" today bringing me to -4.5"

you want the bars right at the back of the hood about even with the latch.

If you get em there it will make it much easier in the surf.
