RRP Fat Bar Question

I've been running 75mm rrp fat bars along with a rrp pole and steering system and I like the look and feel of the tall bars, but I recently went to install a trim system and found out that there is not enough room on the bars for the grip, trim lever, and starter/kill switch assembly due to the bend in the bars. My question is are the straight bars the only way to go to have enough room for the controls? I almost ordered a set of straight bars, but hesitated when I read on the thrust innovations site that when using straight bars it may let the controls hit the chin pad and I don't want more issues like that. Anybody have any suggestions about what bend to use to not have issues?

You can buy RRP Bar Extenders for the riser bars. Once those are installed, you will have no issues.

Thanks for the input. I actually did see those while looking for some new bars. I was worried that they may make the bars feel to wide though. Are there different sizes available like if I only wanted to make the bars wider about .5 inches per side?

You can cut the extensions down if you want to. Also you will get used to the wide bars after a ride or 2

Awesome. I think ill give the extensions a shot especially for the cost there's not much to lose. Thanks to both of you for your input.
