RRP bars or other umi style bend bars...help

I have a straight bar setup turn plate from x metal,I like the drop back bars that RR makes ,but they have a big taper in the middle that wont work with the clamps, are there any bars out there with 0 degree that will work like these that fit?

The description/model and pic they have there are mismatched.... the pic is a blaster bar which has sweep. Model # is for the SU 0* Bars with the V that won't work on straight bar setups.

Suck it up and mod a plate for the RRP bars. You can get clamps for the thicker bar, you just need to make new holes which might be the hard part.

I didnt see anywhere you can get the clamps separate,or I would already have them and the RR bars. where have you seen them for sale,RR only has the bottom piece clamp if your using the 0 degree bars that moves it back a little.

you'll need an oversize bar kit.... you could possibly get away with only running the top clamp. Don't know if the bolt spacing lines up with the 7/8" spacing the turnplates have.

or else bolt the whole thing up.

Should be a hint for the guys making the turnplates... jump and start making top clamps and turnplates that accomodate the larger bars. :reporter:

I was looking at those style clamps before, but didnt think they would fit very well on the steering plate, they look like they stick up in the air alot higher wasnt sure if it would clear the chin pad.

I called xmetal and asked if he would at least make a new clamp to accommodate the new larger adjustable bars out there, but he said he didnt think he was going to be able to??? seems this is a much better set up to me to have at least a little adjust ability out of the running length of the pole. If i could get just the top clamps it would be no prob to drill out the plate for the new bolt spacing.
