roundnose vs. squarenose long exhaust tubes

I went to put the long exhaust tube into the F1 last night and its 3" too short...the exhaust thru hull is shorter than the OEM fx hull that I pulled the tube from


I know the roundie tube is a bit larger in diamter than a square tube, but is either one any longer than the other???

The RN & SN tubes are the same length from what I could tell.
Maybe you can cut the FX tube & put a metal or PVC tube in the middle to get the extra 3 inches for now.

yeah, in a bind you could always lengthen it with a piece of marine exhaust hose and double clamps assuming that you have some of the tray cut out anyway for footholds or something. You just wouldn't be able to remove it easily down the road.

umm....just read what WAB said. Use marine exhaust hose and make sure you double clamp. Cut me some slack.....I'm at work on new year's eve.

problem solved!

the long tube from a B1 is HUGE and can pretty much be used as a replacement on ANY standup..

I cut about a foot off the back of it and matched the curve....it is also the thicker diameter tube like a roundie vs. the fx and square which are smaller



I guess couches are good for something!
