Hey folks, figured its time i start a build thread for what ive been working on the last few weeks to show some progress and to gain some more information!
Started with a 99 rn i picked up in the spring, limited 701, B-Pipe, Trim, head and some other goodies. rode it for the year with intentions of swapping to an Am hull this winter but the funds weren't there so i figured id fix the rn up a bit.
Plans are to shorten the back, widen the tray with adjustable footholds and add some rocker to the front, i wanna do the rocker differently then everyone else has by keeping a bit of the bond rail similar to the superfreaks to make it look different and to act as a splash guard(win win hopefully).
I thought it felt heavy in the back so i figured there was some water back there so that was the first job to open the tray up and have a look, weighed the hull first though to give me a starting point...
Found the water!
Looks a lot better AND lighter with all the foam and water out!
Once that mess was all cleaned up i could move onto marking and cutting the rear, ended up doing something different again by going -4 on the bottom and -3 on the top but also angled inside to outside to kinda match the tail, worked pretty good i think!
And thats where i am as of last night, plan on marking out and cutting the rocker this weekend and getting that all figured out how i want it.
