RN Superjet re-paint/ fix stuff......

I decided my ski was due for another paint job... instead of painting on top of old paint again I decided to strip it bare... or at least that was the plan. There must have been 7 or so coats of paint on it.. I got most of it besides the bottom of the hull stripped down.

I decided to shorten the bottom deck 2.5" and flush mount my scuppers also. Ill try to keep this up to date as things progress. heres a few pictures.

cool man how u get the exhaust tube out, tried to on mine and messed up the flange, need to try and get it out, i cut the flange off flush going to use the blowsion exit nozzle cover, not sure how well it will work with out the flange, what brand paint u going to use, ive got a 96 superjet not sure what paint to use or how much i need.

got the tube out through the tray... that was quite some time ago. I really have no use for 2 scuppers hah.

I am using Sikkens paint. It is some of the best available, and I get a good deal on it.

looks good man wish i could paint that good, what orange is that, im going with black on bottom and hugger orange on top.

Its started as ford coral red.... I lightened it and added pearl and metallic.... so its kind of a custom color i guess..

I think I am going to run the XFT pole for now..
My motor is a BB 6 mil jetworks motor running 46mm blackjacks, and MSD total loss
I am hoping to get it running soon, and hopfully I can get some help with tuning.

This was my firs attempt at turfing a ski. Any imput or suggestions for next time? Also I had a hard time with cutting the edges on the sides of the tray.. I got it done but it's not perfect.

My pump had some damage to the veins, so I'm welding them up. I have a little more sanding to do.
