Surfriding RN pole with stock pump.

I broke the pole on my FX1 yesterday and I have a -4 RN pole that I would like to stick on there. I've got some UMI steering and an extra RN steering cable as well but I think that the cable is too long for the pump end. Is there any easy remedy for this?

You may hace a challenge getting the SJ cable through the pvc tube in the hull too, due to the longer end.

With an x2 pump in the SJ cable lines up perfect. Seems like I made around a 2" extension when I was using the stock fx cable. Screw the ends on as far as possible. My bars are centered in this pic so you can see where it comes to in relation to the rear rideplate mount.

I might just drill a couple holes to mount the cable on the RN pole and get it back on the water. I plan on throwing a 650 pump into that ski someday in the future, but not now.

I guess aftermarket poles and big pumps get done at the same time. I was just hoping there was another option for people that use the stock pump to run a RN pole.

I wanna keep my RN pole able to use a RN cable for a pump conversion this winter. This was my solution to get it on the water this weekend and for the rest of the season. I came up with about 6.5" from the cable holder to the ball on the steering and tried to angle it correct to keep it from stressing at all.
