I lost interest in fixing it the last time I had a thread going, due to a lame injury. Here's the link to the last thread. www.x-h2o.com/threads/60183
So I put in the new starter relay and it still wouldn't crank. Well, I should have listened when I was told to test the ground to the ebox. I jumped a ground to the ebox and it cranked and got spark too. So I was thinking the stator lost its ground, and I ran a wire from the black stator wire to the case. Fired it up. It ran rough, boggy, big misses, that sounded ignition related. And as an added bonus the kill button didn't work. So I pulled the lanyard out and it still ran. So I pulled a plug wire to kill it.
So now I am a bit confused again. Could a bad stator that lost ground, with my added ground act like that? Or maybe something wrong with my start stop button box on the bars? My battery ground wire gets perfect continuity also. I don't know if it's messed up, but it does have perfect continuity.
Thanks again guys. And sorry for the link to my last thread.

If I disconnect the (added) ground wire to the stator I am back to no cranking when start button is pushed.
